Recently I build this Model 33 Summarine of the PLA of China for a friend. The final result I'm quite happy with. I did a considerable amout of experimentation with the finishing.
Finishing process
- Sprayed with lacquers
- Wash with highly thinned enamals
- Applied Tamiya weathering master rust powder
- Sprayed with clear gloss lacquer
- Painted with dark grey tempura and polished (to leave dark grey in resessed areas only)
- Sprayed with clear matt lacquer
